Solutions Consultant


FactoryFour is seeking a highly driven Solutions Consultant to join our rapidly expanding Sales team. The candidate will be an individual that works closely with our sales team to evaluate opportunities, conducts demonstrations of the product, and creates technical solutions to challenges posed by prospective customers.

About the Role
  • Become an expert on the FactoryFour platform, understanding the nuances and extent of the system's capabilities.
  • Conduct demonstrations of the platform to prospective customers alongside Account Executives, identifying areas of value and highlighting key features.
  • Become the subject matter expert on manufacturing execution systems (MES) for the prospective customer, fielding questions and presenting solutions to their challenges.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to identify functionality prospective customers are looking for and inform product roadmap.
  • Ensure smooth transition of new customers from sales to implementation.
  • Occasion travel for meetings may be required.
Your Qualifications
  • 1-2 Years of technology sales or consulting experience, preferably for a SaaS or IoT-based solution.
  • General understanding of Information Technology and SaaS offerings.
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written skills.
  • Able to build meaningful business relationships with prospects, customers and colleagues.
  • Prior experience working with technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Bonus points:
    • Experience working in manufacturing or logistics.
    • Basic knowledge of coding.
    • Experience with Salesforce.

Our Process
  • Work with Account Executives to conduct demonstrations of the platform for prospective clients, focusing on evaluating their technical needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to determine technical solutions and present to the prospect as part of the sales process.
  • Complete handoff of new customer from sales to implementation, defining deployment needs to the customer success team.
